The day will be split into two main events, the morning session will be the KS2 events then the afternoon event will be FS/KS1. The events on the day will involve some traditional games such as Egg & Spoon, Hurdles, and Sprints Races.
Parents are free to attend both the morning and afternoon slots. During the morning and afternoon events, parents/spectators are able to watch their child / children behind a designated area. Please feel free to bring blankets to sit on.
The morning session will begin at 9.30 and finish at 11.30am. The children will enter the field with an opening ceremony, banners and drums. The KS2 children will line up in there house teams with Year 6 at the front of the track followed by Year 5 Year 4 and Year 3.

After all scores have been totaled and the winning house announced, the children will return to their class before leaving school at the usual school time of 3.15pm.
Please note that children cannot be collected before-hand as we need to ensure every child returns to class and is registered before they leave school. We hope for the event to be as successful and fun as in previous years so please feel free to come and support your child, bring banners, drums to make it an Olympic atmosphere, fingers crossed we’ll even get a little sunshine! If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to ask Mr Allen, PE Subject Leader.
