A huge thank you to all the families and friends who came along and supported the children at Duke Street Market. What a highly entertaining event it was with Mr Reay getting pie faced being just one of the highlights. The profit made by all the £10 challenge teams came to over £350. In addition to this amazing total is another £300 that was raised from the class copper coin challenges. Mrs Nicholls is still busy counting up the exact total but we have raised over £650! Thank you all so much for your support.
The winning copper coin challenge classes were Ash and Yew. The team who won the £10 challenge were Redwood and Yew. They have decided to donate the money raised to the charity Action Duchenne, thanks to Karsen Ellis’ fabulous pitch on the work done by the charity. Action Duchenne is a UK charity founded in 2001 to fund research to find a cure or viable treatments for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
